We're wanting to expand to DAB Radio!
Blunt Radio currently broadcasts online only, but with the amount of positive feedback and listener number's we have decided we want to expand our broadcast to cover Sheffield & Rotherham on DAB Digital Radio. This means listeners would be able to hear us in more places for example in their car's which in return would give us a better revenue on advertisers across South Yorkshire.
Why DAB Digital Radio
The range of DAB is much wider, and DAB is a digitally transmitted sound. Being on DAB would mean we can make a better Revenue via sponsorships and advertisers. We would also be able to reach a wider audience with our endless amount of music, News, weather and local Travel.
What Area?
As we are already set up and running as a online radio station targeted at Sheffield & Rotherham in South Yorkshire we want to remain and grow with the local community. This is why we have chosen South Yorkshire.
Will your content change?
NO!
by going DAB we are hoping this will increase our revenue and give more of a local sound to listeners, local unsigned artist's and local advertisers. We will also stick to NO more then 3 adverts every 15 minuets giving us the advantage over other local radio station's. We will also be running a live and local breakfast and drive home show meaning information such as Travel news will be up to date for the listeners.
How can we help?
Running a radio station isn't cheap, we are looking for advertisers all the time to be on air and to help with revenue to support our goals of going DAB. This is the same with Sponsorships. But anyone can donate to us to make our goal come quicker.
